With an impressive 207PS under its bonnet, the new Polo GTI delivers the sporty performance it promises. Its powerful TSI engine switches to drawthrough, even at low revs. With acceleration from 0 to 62mph (0 - 100km/h) in 6.5 seconds, you’ll notice it every time you start the engine – and whenever you look in your rear view mirror. The DSG dual clutch gearbox also ensures the fun never ends, allowing for seamless gear changes and even helping you save fuel.

Does even the merest sight of a winding road instantly boost your mood? Then the XDS electronic differential lock that comes as standard in the new Polo GTI is bound to make you smile. The advantage it offers is that it reduces the tendency to understeer. Or, to put it more simply, it offers maximum driving enjoyment on sporty, winding drives.
Shows what it’s made of
It’s not just what’s under the bonnet of the Polo GTI that will impress you – its sporty look also speaks for itself. Of course, the classic GTI red brake calipers and trim strips are a given – as is the radiator grille with its distinctive honeycomb design. For an even more striking look, the new Polo GTI comes with an eye-catching LED light strip on the front between its IQ.LIGHT Matrix LED beam headlights and sporty 17-inch 'Parker' wheels. The new 18-inch 'Faro' wheels are also available as an optional extra. And because many people will only see your Polo GTI from the back, the tailgate features a chrome exhaust pipe and, of course, the three letters: GTI.
Classic meets digital
When you sit in the Polo GTI, you will be greeted by a look that combines classic GTI design elements with a fresh look. Elements such as the red trim strip, the GTI steering wheel clip and the legendary tartan pattern meet touch surfaces such as those for the Climatronic air conditioning system as well as the 26.04 cm (10.25-inch) Digital Cockpit Pro. Last but not least, the Polo GTI also delivers the ultimate sound experience with its 'Discover media navigation including Internet and Streaming' as standard with its 8" TFT colour screen.
