offers for New T-Cross
Even at first glance, the new T‑Cross has a real highlight: the innovative IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, which are optionally available on Life and R-Line, standard on Style. The matrix technology allows you to drive with the main beam permanently switched on without dazzling other road users. An elegant light strip extends between the headlights and the Volkswagen logo and lends the compact SUV a unique light signature. The package includes the optional LED tail light clusters with animated brake light and integrated dynamic turn signal, which indicates the intended direction with a dynamic flowing light movement.
You can give your T‑Cross a very personal touch with the ambient lighting. The indirect, white light – standard with Style and R-Line – creates a comfy atmosphere by gently illuminating the front door openers, the decorative strips on the doors and the dashboard. The digital displays also light up in whiteDo you ever transport something larger? That’s no problem for the new T‑Cross. With the optional towing bracket, you can tow unbraked loads of up to 650 kg and braked loads of up to 1,200 kg. The drawbar load of the towing bracket is now even up to 75 kg, allowing you to carry multiple e-Bikes. If you don’t need the device at the moment, it can be removed quickly and easily and stored in the boot.
The carefully tuned Beats audio sound system – available as an option– ensure the resonant sound, while the additional subwoofer provides you with extra deep bass you can really feel in the pit of your stomach. And you control the entire system and set the tone using your infotainment system. The volume of the luggage compartment is not affected by the sound system.
The standard sports comfort seats in the T‑Cross R-Line and Style provide better support on tight curves, which in this case are also made from recycled materials. For example, the upper material of the centre seat panels, seat inner bolsters and the entire trim material as well as the headrests are made from 100% recycled polyester and recycled PET bottles. Expressive embossing and inserts made of synthetic leather ensure the sporty look.
How people perceive temperature can vary: while one person is still cold, the other may already be too warm. The Air Care Climatronic 2-zone air conditioning system, standard on Style and R-Line and optional on life, has the solution. This allows you to regulate the temperatures on the driver and passenger sides independently of each other. And the Air Care Climatronic can do even more than that: the slower your speed, the quieter the blower. If you activate the windscreen cleaner or engage reverse gear, the system automatically switches to recirculation mode. This keeps the air in the car fresh and the temperatures pleasant.
The manoeuvre braking integrated in the Park Distance Control can reduce the severity of a collision, or avoid a collision altogether, when reversing at speeds of up to 6mph. The manoeuvre braking can also be activated at the touch of a button when driving forwards.
The new T‑Cross welcomes you in. Easily see where you are setting your foot when getting in and out of the car in the dark. When you open the door, a light projection appears on the floor next to the vehicle, illuminating the entry area.
Make calls conveniently while driving via the loudspeakers and microphones of the hands-free system and charge your mobile phone wirelessly via the optionally available inductive charging function at the front of the cockpit.
Drive safely and make phone calls at the same time? The Comfort mobile phone interface, gives you everything you need for this: the hands-free system has microphones in the roof console, while the internal speakers ensure high sound quality of the voice output. The front storage compartment also has an inductive charging function for wirelessly charging your mobile phone with Qi standard. The connection to the external aerial is also ensured wirelessly to optimise the reception quality.
The T‑Cross R-Line has a particularly sporty appearance: both the door sill with R-Line lettering and the pedal covers are made from brushed stainless steel. Not only does this look good, it is also particularly robust and long-lasting.
Rear passengers enjoy two additional USB-C ports in the rear of the centre console in addition to the USB-C ports in the front (charging capacity of up to 45 W). For example, you can easily charge multiple devices while driving. After all, batteries always seem to run out faster than you’d like.
The standard Travel Assist function provides you with extremely useful driving assistance on board. It can keep you in your lane, maintain a minimum distance to the vehicle in front and the maximum speed you have set.
Among other things, it uses adaptive lane guidance to do this. This actively keeps the vehicle in the middle of the lane. Travel Assist adapts to your driving style and can also drive further to the left or right in its own lane instead of exactly in the middle.
In combination with a navigation system, Travel Assist is extended by predictive cruise control and cornering assistance. This means that Travel Assist can adapt the vehicle’s speed to the relevant speed limits and the road layout (bends, roundabouts etc.)
Standard Adaptive Cruise Control ACC, helps you to maintain a previously set maximum speed and preset minimum distance to the vehicle in front. In combination with a navigation system, ACC is extended by predictive cruise control and cornering assistance.
This means that ACC can adapt the vehicle’s speed to the relevant speed limits and the road layout (bends roundabouts etc.).
The Side Assist lane change system, optional from Life onwards, can alert you to dangerous lane changes. An LED lamp in the exterior mirror shows you when a vehicle is in your blind spot or approaching quickly from behind.
When you signal to change lane, Side Assist calculates whether one of these vehicles could pose a danger to you based on position and speed – and draws your attention to this by flashing conspicuously.
Working together with the Lane Assist lane keeping system, it can support you additionally with corrective steering intervention.
The standard front and rear sensors can alert you to obstacles detected in front of or behind your Volkswagen not only acoustically but also visually via a display in the infotainment system.
The manoeuvre braking integrated in the Park Distance Control can reduce the severity of a collision, or avoid a collision altogether, when reversing at speeds of up to 6mph.The manoeuvre braking can also be activated at the touch of a button when driving forwards.
