Ingram Motoring Group is a well established, family owned and operated motor group that has taken great pride in serving new and returning customers throughout Ayrshire and beyond for 50 years.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our busy workshop for a skilled and qualified Vehicle Technician, with at least 3 years experience. We require a capable candidate who can complete all vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for the following -

Perform high quality repairs and servicing to brand standards.
Repairing or replacing broken/defective parts.
Ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently with quality workmanship, placing an emphasis on first-time fix and customer satisfaction.
Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.

About You:

Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles

Experienced of working to the highest quality standards ideally within a franchised dealer, with the drive to exceed expectations and productivity targets
Relevant qualifications – IMI level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair required, Level 3 desirable,
The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner, on your own or as part of a team.

Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.

Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
