Maximum electric range is determined by official WLTP test criteria under standardized conditions with a 100% charge. Real-world results vary based on factors such as weather, driving style, speed, vehicle load, and battery age. Drivers can maximize range by using regenerative braking, removing unnecessary heavy items, and pre-heating the vehicle while it is still charging.

There are three primary methods for charging your electric vehicle. You can charge through a 3-pin household socket, which is slow but widely accessible, or a home wallbox, which is faster and more practical for those with off-street parking. Public charging points include rapid or ultra-rapid options, which are the quickest way to charge during long journeys.

While the initial list prices of EVs may be higher due to new innovations, owners should consider the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). This includes the cost of fuel or charging, lower servicing costs, and various tax incentives. For example, electric vehicles currently pay nil road tax, though this exemption is scheduled to change from April 2025.

All new CUPRA electric vehicles come with a standard 5-year/90,000-mile warranty. Additionally, the high-voltage battery is covered by a specific 8-year/100,000-mile warranty against degradation. Approved Used models receive a battery health certificate and benefit from the remaining balance of the original warranty.
