We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join our highly skilled team at our leading Volkswagen Group Accident Repair Centre. Annual Salary

£36,400.00 (Dependent on Experience)

On-Target Earnings (OTE)

£45,000 - £50,000 (including overtime and bonus)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repair and replacements of vehicle panels and bodywork.
• Strip and fit panels accurately.
• Carry out panel replacements as required.
• Perform welding and bonding of vehicle structures according to standards.
• Adhere strictly to manufacturer’s literature and modification bulletins for chassis and panel work.
• Operate all equipment (jigs, fixtures, welding tools) safely and according to defined requirements.
• Repair and replace body components to restore damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition and meet VWG standards.
• Handle all vehicles with care, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and workable condition.
• Follow all housekeeping and Health & Safety regulations and policies.

About You: Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable working knowledge and experience in vehicle panel repairs.
• Ability to carry out a full range of vehicle body repairs on all makes, including jig work.
• Proven experience as a Panel Beater is essential (from Bodyshop or Accident Repair background).

Desirable Qualifications

• Relevant Panel Beater qualifications: IMI Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or ATA Accreditation.

​Technical Job Knowledge:

Qualified Staff – Your main workload will be completed with minimal supervision, and include providing direct supervision to non-qualified technicians, where applicable.

Non-Qualified Staff – Your main tasks will be completed with direct supervision from a qualified Technician
